Aim

The aim of the Center for Health Research and Innovation (CHRI) at Jatiya Kabi Kazi Nazrul Islam University in Mymensingh, Bangladesh, is to become a leading hub for cutting-edge research, innovation, and excellence in the field of health sciences. CHRI aims to address pressing health challenges through collaborative research, capacity building, and knowledge translation, ultimately contributing to improved health outcomes and well-being for communities locally and globally.

Vision

The vision of CHRI is to be recognized nationally and internationally as a premier center for health research and innovation, known for its impactful contributions to advancing knowledge, improving health systems, and fostering innovation in healthcare delivery. CHRI strives to be a catalyst for positive change, leading the way in addressing emerging health issues and promoting health equity and social justice.

Objectives

  1. To conduct high-quality research in various areas of health sciences, including epidemiology, public health, clinical research, and health systems, to generate evidence-based solutions to health challenges.
  2. To facilitate collaboration and partnerships with national and international institutions, organizations, and stakeholders to enhance research capacity and promote knowledge exchange.
  3. To contribute to the training and professional development of students, researchers, and healthcare professionals through workshops, seminars, and academic programs.
  4. To translate research findings into policy recommendations and practical interventions to improve health outcomes and healthcare delivery systems.
  5. To promote innovation and entrepreneurship in healthcare by fostering the development and implementation of novel technologies and approaches to address health needs.
  6. To engage with communities and stakeholders to ensure that research activities are responsive to the health needs and priorities of the population, particularly vulnerable and underserved groups.

Working Nature

Researchers, including undergraduate, graduate, and post-graduate students affiliated with Jatiya Kabi Kazi Nazrul Islam University, will have the opportunity to collaborate with CHRI if their research aligns with the center's aims and vision. CHRI will offer training, workshops, and methodological support to assist researchers in their endeavors. Additionally, the center will actively seek partnerships and opportunities for knowledge exchange, both within the university and with external stakeholders, as well as universities in Bangladesh and abroad, to enhance the impact of its research and innovation initiatives.
